The architect contacted Datum to conceive a roof structure for the Council Chambers. The shape and size of the roof was already established, but he wanted us to propose an exposed roof structure.

Datum prepared the model shown in the photograph of a three dimensional truss system to be constructed out of steel tubes. The architect liked it very much and we proceeded to build the roof with only minor differences from the model we presented.

This is an excellent example of how the Art of Engineering Process can contribute to the success of a building project.
