The Belo Center for New Media is Datum’s latest project to break ground on the UT Austin campus.  The new $50M building will be a state-of-the art facility for the College of Communications designed around the future of communication: collaborative, interactive, digital, multimedia, and creative.

The building was designed by The Lawrence Group Architects, in association with Graeber, Simmons & Cowan.  Datum Gojer Engineers is providing both structural engineering and civil engineering services.  Among other aspects, the structural design features long-span post-tensioned transfer girders over the KUT Performance Studio 1A.
