Thomas Taylor Celebrates 50 Years at Datum
On July 1, 2009, we gathered at Arcodoro Pomodoro to celebrate Thomas’s 50th anniversary at Datum. Along with the Datum family, several of Thomas’s longtime friends joined in the festivities.
It was a fun evening recounting Thomas’s history with the firm, and hearing stories from many of his friends about battles fought over the years. His friends were certainly at no loss for words to express their admiration and respect for him. They were equally ready with one-liners and well-timed zingers.
Thomas has been influential in the City of Dallas, not just for all of the buildings he has had a hand in shaping, but for his involvement in civic activities and initiatives. His service on the DART board helped make rail mass transit a reality in Dallas. He has also been instrumental in creating a more lively downtown.
Thank you, Thomas, for all you’ve done and continue to do to contribute to the success of Datum. We will always be "standing on the shoulders of a giant."
