The New Evans Library and Computing Center was designed for 150 to 250 psf throughout much of its floor area to accommodate high-density book collections both now and in the future.  The cast-in-place structure is linked to the old Evans Library with a pedestrian bridge at the fourth level.  The adjacent post-tensioned parking garage is clad in brick with small punched openings to make it blend in with the other buildings in this central part of the campus.
