Austin's City Hall has an angular design that shows a contrast to the area around it. The design features limestone walls, terraces, and footbridges that are created to copy the region’s hilly landscape. There are also copper panels that are meant to reference the city’s 360 bridge. Rather than erecting an unsightly above-ground parking structure, subterranean parking discreetly accommodates more than 700 vehicles.

Many of the materials used in the construction of Austin City Hall are made with a high degree of recycled content.
