Cutting Horse Ranch is located on a 175 acre cutting horse ranch and consists of seven single story structures.  The structures include an arena, a training barn, a mare barn, a hydrotherapy barn, a pavilion, an equipment building, and a hay barn.  Each building’s roof structure is exposed and were designed and detailed with structural steel pipe trusses supporting steel tube roof purlins.  The arena has a column free interior that measures 275’-0” x 111’-8”.  The hydrotherapy barn has a 6’-0” deep x varying width x 56’-0” long hydrotherapy treadmill that contains treadmill equipment and whirlpool equipment embedded in structural concrete.  Both the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the Texas Society of Architects (TSA) recognized this project with a design award in 2011.
