Q & A

What inspires you about your work?

It’s amazing how much design and planning it takes to make a building!  There can be unique challenges to every phase of the project.  I enjoy working with architects to figure out the best detail or system to efficiently achieve their vision. Learning new and efficient approaches in problem solving for structures is exciting.

Why do you work at Datum?

I was drawn to Datum by their history and continued success at high profile projects.  But now that I have spent time here, I especially like the teamwork and collaboration at Datum.  It feels like I am part of big family.

What makes you interesting?

Details fascinate me. I research for fun, sometimes to the chagrin of my wife and family, but we all learn many new things.

What motivates you?

I am thankful for my beautiful wife, who is ever by my side, and love the adventures we share with our five kids
