Jienan is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive professional experience and has been with Datum since the beginning of 2024. She is a licensed Structural Engineer in the state of Illinois and plays a key role in leading major portions of complex projects. Jienan is known for her thoughtful, research-driven approach to problem-solving, delivering well-integrated engineering solutions that carefully consider architectural intent and coordination with other disciplines.

She works closely and effectively with clients, demonstrating professionalism and technical insight, while also serving as a valuable mentor and resource to junior engineers. Jienan holds both a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
