Eagle Stadium, Allen ISD

Allen, Texas

70,000 sq. ft.

Datum Engineers and Nelson Forensics worked together for nearly two-years on this joint effort of evaluation and rehabilitation of the Eagle Stadium in Allen, Texas. The $60M facility is touted as the most expensive high school stadium in the United States.

The Datum Nelson team of 15 engineers analyzed Eagle stadium's as-built condition, diagnosed structural deficiencies, designed structural repairs for multiple elements of the stadium, and provided oversight during the construction process.

The engineers' efforts focused primarily on the following elements of the stadium:

  • Concession stands
  • Entry towers and access gate ramps
  • Press box
  • Scoreboard
  • Basement walls
  • Concourse level slab, beams, and girders
