Student Success Center
The Dallas College Eastfield Student Success Academic Building represents a transformative addition to the campus, uniting academic and student support functions within a single, strategically designed facility. Spanning 116,000 square feet, the building streamlines essential services—such as admissions, financial aid, advising, and veteran and disability services—into one accessible location. In addition to support services, the building includes 25 classrooms, 50 faculty and staff offices, academic suites, and a range of flexible collaboration spaces intended to foster meaningful connections among students, faculty, and advisors.
The building serves as a gateway to the Eastfield campus, positioned along a central pedestrian path to create a welcoming and highly visible entry point. Expansive glazing at the front façade offers transparency both into the building and across the campus, reinforcing its role as both a connector and a campus focal point. Structurally, the building incorporates adaptable multi-purpose spaces, including an event room adjacent to a semi-enclosed lawn that can accommodate both college functions and community gatherings. This integration of interior and exterior space supports the college’s goal of creating a vibrant, inclusive hub that reflects its mission to uplift the surrounding community through education and engagement.
The building was designed by Perkins&Will and Datum Rios served as the structural engineer for the project.
