Location

Austin, Texas

Size

275,000 sq. ft.

Design Architect

Gensler

For students headed back to the University of Texas at Austin, a new student lifestyle community, Moontower, is just steps away in West Campus. The 18-story student housing property offers apartments ranging from studios to five-bedroom units, with upscale amenities that include a fitness center, a rooftop pool, and panoramic city views. Study booths and rooms, a cool lounge area, co-working spaces for group studying, underground parking and a café round out the class-A perks.

The Datum team is proud to have worked with Gensler, JE Dunn, and the rest of the Lincoln Ventures team to make this dream building be a dream come true for its lucky residents.

David Kanne, President of property developer, Lincoln Ventures, says that the building’s amenities, location, and finishes all work to “elevate the student housing experience.”

The property name is a nod to beloved Austin landmarks. These 165-ft-tall towers were purchased by the City in 1894 and the light from one tower illuminates a 1,500-ft radius. Austin is the only city in the world to still use moonlight towers.
