San Marcos High School Addition

Location

San Marcos, Texas

Size

42,000 sq. ft.

Design Architect

Perkins&Will

The San Marcos High School Addition expands and modernizes the campus with a new two-story, 42,000 square foot facility dedicated to building sciences, auto-tech, and other career and technical education programs. The project also includes the renovation of roughly 5,600 square feet within the existing campus buildings to better support these instructional needs.

A signature feature of the design is the elevated sky bridge that connects the new addition to the existing facilities. This link creates a clear and efficient circulation path for students and staff and serves as the primary route between the academic spaces.
