UTD Phase I of the O'Donnell Athenaeum
The Edith and Peter O’Donnell Jr. Athenaeum signifies the first phase of a 12-acre district at The University of Texas at Dallas.
The new 56,600 sq. ft. project introduces the second location for the Crow Museum of Asian Art, the Brettel Reading Room, and Carolyn Brown Archive. The project also incorporates a 1,100-car parking garage. This modern building enriches the student experience by fostering art on the campus, displaying the latest in artistic and cultural innovation.
The Athenaeum was designed by Morphosis Architects, with Datum Rios serving as the structural engineer and The Beck Group as the general contractor.
